It is going to be easy. This was what I had thought when I initially started considering engineering as a career option. With thousands of thoughts gushing through my mind, and after frantic efforts to find just the right college, I got admission to one of the finest Women's Universities in India. It was a dream come true, although I knew somewhere deep within myself that what I had thought to be easy, was going to make me break a sweat. I enrolled as an Electrical and Electronics undergrad. Designed to turn the students into the toughest creatures on the planet, the course has somehow instilled a feeling of resilience in me. There have been times during my four semesters when I felt as if the world was going to end as if I was caught among the walls of peer pressure and standard academic excellence, and I had nowhere to go. But with the ongoing semester of my junior year, there's one thing I have realized- I will never give up! Engineering has not just been an undergrad course for me, it has become a way of life. I know, that even if the problem is impossible to solve, as an engineer, there's surely going to be some way that is waiting to be discovered. I know no one's going to be reading these posts. But for some unknown reason, it is heartening to share my overwhelming journey, its ups and downs, and how each test, each lecture, each assignment, each and every teacher has taught me something I could have never figured out on my own. This way of life, i.e., engineering, has improved me as a person and has made me learn beautiful things throughout the journey. Hence to my 4 to 5 loyal dearest readers, I shall be sharing my journey so far and in the future, in the upcoming chapters. Hope you stay tuned. Wishing you good health and sending love to all of you.
Signing off,
